I’m a bit quarky

Been seeing quark on various clean eating sites and saw some at the grocery store. It’s a cheese that tastes identical to plain Greek yogurt to me…except it’s half the calories!!! This particular quark is from Germany, but for 1/2 cup there is 55kcal/3.8g carbs/0.2g fat/8.7g protein.

I mixed it with a scoop of chocolate whey protein, 1 tablespoon PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, and some raspberries. Delicious!!!

Juicy Turkey Burgers topped with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce

I took a package of extra lean ground turkey (1.3 lbs), added in a small container of plain Chobani Greek yogurt, some minced garlic, diced mushrooms, spices and mixed together. On a cookie sheet I formed 6 burgers and threw them in the oven until done.

For the Cucumber Yogurt topping, I took another container of Chobani plain Greek yogurt and mixed in diced cucumber, fresh garlic, minced onion, and spices (wish I had dill!). I let that sit in the refrigerator until the turkey burgers were finished.

Nutrition facts pictured are for the turkey burgers alone. With the topping, mine came out to 229kcal/8g Carb/7g Fat/33g Protein
